Referees
Junior referees are at the heart of our club and allow our matches to run each and every week. Referees not only provide an opportunity for our senior players to take a leadership role and earn a little pocket money, the role develops self confidence and allows players to develop another perspective of the game.
Who can be a junior referee?
Anyone from Grade 5 to age 99!
A junior referee is the referee for junior games, not necessarily junior in age!
How can I become a referee?
Referee training courses are held prior to the start of each year.
1.5 hour basic Referee training for will be conducted at the DJSA Clubrooms. Thursday 7th March or Monday 11th March 2024, 6pm to 7.30pm. Queries may be directed to devonportjuniorsoccer@gmail.com
If the season has already started and you have decided that you would like to participate, contact us anyway as we can arrange some training for you and would love to see you come on board!
